Sleep is blissful at the Hambro Arms.
Named after historical figures that had a prominent part to play in creating the Milton Abbas we have today. All of our en-suite rooms have been recently refurbished. Our aim was to combine all of the charm of the historic building, with those essential modern conveniences and a little luxury.
All of our rooms have Egyptian cotton towels and sheets for that touch of luxury. The rooms also have flat-screened televisions, a hospitality tray, a hairdryer and the essential Wi-Fi internet access.
Our guests start the day with a full English breakfast served in our elegant Library Restaurant.

Standard Double – Chambers Room
Named after the famous architect, who designed Milton Abbas, Sir William Chambers, our recently refurbished Standard Double room is decorated and furnished with a contemporary tone.
Although it is our smallest room, it still benefits from a king-sized bed and has a small en-suite shower room.
It has a flat-screen TV with Freeview channels, a hairdryer and a hospitality tray. The Chambers Room has both Wi-Fi and a wired internet access.

Superior Double – Kings Room and Capability Room
Recently refurbished, we have two Superior Rooms which are individually decorated in keeping with the history of our village and the building itself.
The Kings Room celebrates the fact that King Edward VII stayed in Milton Abbas in 1906. The Capability Room is named after the famous landscape gardener, who helped design Milton Abbas alongside Sir William Chambers.
They are considerably larger than our standard room and benefit from en-suite bathrooms with bath and shower facilities. The rooms have flat-screen TV’s with Freeview channels, a hairdryer and a hospitality tray. The rooms also benefit from Wi-Fi internet access.

Family Room or Junior Suite – Tregonwell Room
This room is named after Sir John Tregonwell, whose family came into the possession of the Abbey in 1540. The room, a recent addition, is our largest room and is decorated and furnished with a contemporary feel.
The room offers a king-sized (or twin beds). For that romantic getaway this room can be set up as a junior suite, with a small seating area or alternatively, a family room with the sofa converting to a bed. The room also benefits from a large en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower
It has a flat-screen TV with Freeview channels, a hairdryer and a hospitality tray. The Tregonwell Room has both Wi-Fi and a wired internet access.
