2009 Milton Abbas Street Fair

This bi-annual event normally attracts over 10,000 people to the village.

A great family day out In this picturesque village  

Lots of music and dancing, craft stalls and demonstrations, 
Dorset Farmers’ Market and a big choice of refreshments

The Street is closed and many people attend to enjoy an event which is as near to an eighteenth century fair as we can make it. Traditionally, to create an authentic eighteenth century festive atmosphere, home made bunting is hung across and up and down the street from hooks which are already installed just under the thatch. Residents and stall holders are asked to dress in eighteenth century costume and visitors are welcome to join in.
