At the Hambro Arms we believe in offering quality food at an affordable price. Our food offering caters for every occasion. Whether it is a lunch time snack outside or in our bar area, or that special meal,we have a menu to suit. We offer a selection of dishes for that special occassion, as well traditional pub classics executed in a contemporary way.
We believe in sourcing our food as locally as possible. Mato of Blandford supply the majority of our meat and fish is delivered by Seafresh straight from Hamworthy in Poole.
We have a bar area that is perfect for a lunchtime snack or an informal evening meal in front of the open fire, or you can choose our elegant restaurant which will seat up to 50 people. If the weather is good, we have seating for 70 outside so our customers can enjoy the village atmosphere and views. Please note that we do allow (well behaved!) dogs in our bar area but not the restaurant.
On Sunday Lunchtime we always have a Sunday Roast and at weekends over the summer you can join us for a traditional Dorset cream tea between 3pm and 5pm
We regularly hold popular theme nights called "A taste of ...". Recent events have included a A taste of France, a A taste of Morocco and A taste of The Mediterranean.
