Bookings are now being taken for our Christmas Fayre menu.

The menu runs throughout December (excluding the 22nd December).

Christmas Fayre Menu 2017

To Start

Parsnip, pear & ginger soup served with rustic bread

Pheasant apricot & pistachio terrine with sea salt & cracked pepper crostini’s and gooseberry chutney

Lyme bay crab & crayfish cocktail with brandy infused marie rose sauce served with rye bread

Sticky fig & goats cheese bruschetta finished with balsamic glaze & toasted pinenuts on Dorset watercress

The Main Event

Roast breast of local turkey with sausage, chestnut & cranberry stuffing, pigs in blankets, goose fat roast potatoes, vegetables and white wine and thyme jus

28 day aged rib of beef with real ale Yorkshire pudding, goose fat roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and red wine jus

Pan-fried fillet of sea bass on crushed new potato cake with sauce vierge finished with pesto oil served with seasonal vegetables

Roasted winter squash, new forest mushrooms & spinach filo parcel with braised white cabbage and tomato and chilli concasse

Desserts

Traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce & cranberry compote

Mulled wine & winterberry cocktail with chantilly cream and brandy snap curls

Chocolate fondant with raspberry sorbet and prosecco truffles
